Our Story

Gimo Tours is built upon our life's experience in Italy that has centered around Umbria since we were fresh faced students at the Universita` per Stranieri in Perugia, the capital city of Umbria. Over the course of 20+ years myself, Adriana Montalbano and my husband, Matt Mollo, have built a deep love and knowledge of this little known Italian region...it has become our home away from home.

 

Together founding SelectioNaturel in 2011 (a pioneering US natural wine import company) we have cultivated a rich family network of natural winemakers, local farmers, and simply an intricate sense of place based in the Trasimeno region and its surroundings.  Gimo Tours brings you along with us to discover the magic of this place, the wines and the people that inspire us.
